Sean was born in New York City before moving to Westchester County at a young age. He played multiple sports as a youth including football, wrestling, and lacrosse, which eventually led to a collegiate career in lacrosse at NCAA Division 1 Stony Brook University. There, he earned his degree in Biology with a Neuroscience track and received a Senior Academic Achievement Award. After graduating, Sean spent two years at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York under Dr. Frank Camissa and Dr. Timothy Wright performing orthopedic and biomechanical research.
His interest in both athletics and human health and performance led Sean to pursue a career in coaching fitness, nutrition, and wellness at Crossfit Delray Beach in Delray Beach, Florida. In 2010 Sean began training clients in many areas ranging from professional athletes to those in the recovery community. Sean has worked with hundreds of clients improving their strength, movement quality, cardiovascular fitness, nutrition, and well-being, and is now a co-owner of Crossfit Delray Beach.
Sean has taken a special interest in the recovery community sponsoring fundraising events for local treatment centers, coaching fitness and wellness to those in treatment, emceeing fundraisers, and he employs those in the recovery community at his facility.
Sean also volunteers his time with youth athletics in the area and serves as the Varsity Coach for the Atlantic High School Boys Lacrosse Team. He is in progress of completing his OPEX CCP, PRI Training, and is a certified Crossfit Level 1 Trainer with multiple certifications in mobility, running, weightlifting, and conditioning. Sean competed in the sport of Crossfit and was a two time Reebok Crossfit Games Regionals Competitor. He has coached multiple athletes to the Reebok Crossfit Games.
Sean enjoys bringing mindfulness towards exercise and understands the balance between mental, spiritual, and physical fitness.
